We know non-profits.
Having spent time as a trustee, our Director, Dr Tracey Wond understands the pressures on non-profits and charities. Balancing budgets with limited volunteer resources, diverse boards (sometimes averse to using technologies), and finding that external sources of help are overly-formal and not pragmatic enough (no, a website does not have to cost £12k!).
Our very first clients were community groups and small charities seeking pragmatic and smart solutions on extremely limited budgets.
How ESME Creative can help your non-profit.
This is best demonstrated through some real client examples.
Strategic roles as trustee or trusted advisor to non-profit boards, particularly relating to Tracey's bid writing experience and evaluation/social/impact reporting experience. Tracey has worked with international donor organisations such as the Argidius Foundation as well as regional charities.
Bid writing to support non-profits and charities to secure funding for their work. With a background in funding environments, a strong understanding of impact narratives we've supported organisations to secure a range of funding including corporate community funds and national lottery funding.
Working with a village hall who had suffered some issues with payments made on times and were nervous of handling a lot of cash, we developed a website which allowed the Committee to take payments at the time of booking (reducing the amount of reserved but unpaid bookings). The website had several additional benefits, allowing donations to be made online, providing a front door to the public (which increased bookings) and impressed funders. In 2020, we've supported this charity to secure £11,000 for vital upgrades from two funders (www.villagehallstanton.com).
We've delivered several logos to charities, whether for their charity branding or branding to support projects they're delivering. We designed the South Derbyshire COVID response - Stronger South Derbyshire - logo for instance.
